March 28th, 2020 Lexington, Virginia Quarantine!
Legos and fabricWhile Alison has been spending her free time lovingly fondling her beloved scraps of fabric (see photo above), I have spent mine working on a 2000-piece Lego model of the NASA Apollo Saturn V rocket (see photos below). One is never too old for Legos! My partner in Lego Crime is Dave Norman, Nancy's dad. I sent him the rocket, he put it together and admired it on the mantelpiece for a month or so, and then disassembled it and sent it to me. He's now working on the NASA Apollo Lunar Lander. So many Legos; so little time! Matt and Ginger sitting in a tree...2020 New Year's Card

MusicMy travels around YouTube continue, as I search for new and interesting music. A couple of months back, I discovered a group named Scary Pockets. Their angle is that they perform covers of popular songs with a distinctly funky feel. I find their music infectious! Here are a few of my favorites:

Thanks for your update - love to all! What a great time for relaxing, reading, reminiscing and romance! We're thank G-d all very healthy in New Yawk at the moment, and also grateful for all of the food, water, electricity, internet, lots of open stores and deliveries, and a nice house. And of course we realize that all of the above is due to the dedicated Drs., nurses, health professionals, police, sanitation workers, deliverymen, truckers, Postal workers etc.; all of whom - unlike us - are out of their houses and at the front lines every day. We are about 3 miles from the NY New Rochelle epicenter; we just heard that the National Guard quarantine corridor is now winding down, and also that the local Patient 0 is out of the hospital. Although things now seem to be improving, stay safe, wash hands carefully, and don't kiss anyone from NY for the time being!

So glad you are both healthy was just thinking of you. Joe has been wanting to make a pie like he did with cousin Alison who he usually calls the pie lady. Marvin decided to just buy him an apple pie definitely not the same thing as the amazing strawberry peach pie that he and Alison baked! We have been doing a lot of cooking, I have been writing my reports for work which so far is still paying me until 4/15. Home schooling with the kids, hiking and biking. NYC people coming up to escape so the big state park is packed which would not be Normal this time of year.

I won't tell Taylor or Jenna that you said Abby is your very favorite niece, since they both think that THEY are the very favorite niece :)

I'm glad you are taking care of yourself! I'm pretty much locked down, too. This is not a time for anyone to be running around, but especially not those of us who are immunocompromised.
